Each roster avatar's ring shows a teammate's workload against their capacity; double-click an avatar to edit their availability or contribution.
Reading a roster avatar
The ring around each roster avatar is a segmented capacity meter: one set of segments shows workload that fits within that person's capacity (switching to a distinct color if their workload exceeds it), another shows their remaining available capacity, and another shows time that's unavailable — PTO or holidays. The number in the badge at the bottom-right corner of the avatar is that person's total assigned story points for the sprint.

Spotlight one member's tasks
Click a roster avatar once to dim every task on the canvas that isn't assigned to that person, so their work stands out. Click the same avatar again to clear the spotlight, or click a different avatar to switch it — only one member can be spotlighted at a time.
Adding and editing members
- Click the roster's add-member control to open the Add Member dial, a searchable picker of people in your organization.
- Double-click an existing roster avatar to open the Edit Member dial, with three actions: Availability & PTOs, Remove from Sprint, and Edit Contribution.
Availability and Tempo
Opening Availability & PTOs lets you mark days off for that person; the sprint's capacity figures recalculate live as you toggle days. While this editor is open, Everview plays Tempo — an audio cue whose speed tracks the sprint's capacity load — so you can hear the effect of each change as you make it.
What to do about it
Check the roster's rings before assigning more work to a sprint that already looks tight — an overloaded ring is a per-person signal that a sprint-level capacity figure can hide. See Capacity and Availability for how the sprint-wide numbers these rings feed into are calculated, and Assign Contributors and Set Priority for putting a roster member onto a specific task.
