Open a project from its Sankey ribbon or epic card to edit its name, color, parent, target date, and per-team effort.

Effort
The Efforts section breaks estimated and planned effort down by team and by iteration, so you can see where a project's work is actually landing rather than only its top-line total.
Opening in the connected provider
A link on the project page opens it in its connected provider (Jira or GitHub) in a new tab.
Creating a new project
Use the Add Project button next to a track's ribbons to create a new project at that track's hierarchy level. See Understanding the Execution Hierarchy for how levels determine where a new project can go and which items can be its parent.
What to do about it
Check the Efforts breakdown before assuming a project's overall estimated-vs-planned gap is evenly spread — it often concentrates in one team or iteration rather than the project as a whole.
