Anatomy of the Execution Canvas
The Execution Canvas is divided into iteration columns — one per sprint. Each column has three parts:

Iteration Header
The header row shows the sprint name and date range. Click the header to collapse or expand that iteration.
Sprint Summary Band
The summary band at the top of each active sprint shows:
- Scope — total points planned for the sprint
- Done — points completed so far
- Remaining — points left to finish by the sprint end date
- Goal — the sprint's stated objective or focus, shown read-only
Work Item Cards
Inside each iteration column you'll find work item cards stacked vertically. Each card shows:
- Task icon and title
- Assignee avatar
- Point estimate
- Status indicator (colored left border)
Click any card to open the Work Item Detail panel on the right.
Navigation Tips
- Scroll horizontally to move between past and future sprints.
- Use Time Flow (the timeline axis at the bottom) as a reference for sprint dates.
- The Backlog column at the far left holds work items not yet assigned to a sprint.
